Ahead of Lok Sabha elections, Baijayant Jay Panda joined hands with BJP.
Baijayant had quit BJD last year emphasizing the fact that he was accused of indulging in anti-party activities as well as the party doesn’t want him anymore.
On March 4, Panda joined hands with BJP considering that the problems Odisha is facing at present will be resolved.
On joining the BJP, he was welcomed by Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan who is a significant face of Odisha. BJP President Amit Shah then greeted him.
Pradhan believes that the joining of Panda to the BJP will strengthen the party as he can connect with the youths of Odisha.
Panda talked about the government under Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is deteriorating in the state.
