Cross-platform messaging and Voice over IP service app has reportedly started blocking or disabling conversations for those phone numbers which are proved to be spreading fake news and offensive election-related content, labeled by Election Commission of India.
The first number which has been spreading fake news on its network reportedly blocked by WhatsApp on April 11 before voting started.
