The vehicle has ‘Robo Pods’ that can actually bring parcels or turn as a portable grocery store.
This particular unique system also has a ‘Leader Pod’ where a human can be seated and carried out administrative tasks.
According to Renault, with side pads that open up like a food truck, the concept was stimulated by the guise of a lunch box.
“EZ-PRO is our vision on urban mobility for utilitarian use, for commercial use. It’s another side of mobility services that we expect to increase enormously in the years to come,” Renault Corporate Design Director Laurens van den Acker told Engadget.
Renault is well-known in producing a range of cars and vans, and in the past has manufactured trucks, tractors, tanks, buses and autorail vehicles.
According to the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automobiles, in 2016 Renault was the ninth biggest automaker in the world by production volume.
By 2017, the Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance had become the world’s biggest seller of light vehicles, bumping Volkswagen AG off the top spot.
