A whopping $17 million worth of shoes has gone on sale in the United Arab Emirates.
The world’s “most expensive” pair of shoes has recently been launched at Dubai’s Burj AI Arab hotel and it’s worth only $17 million.
With real gold and diamonds, the shoes took nine months to be designed and created. A total of 236 diamonds line the opening of the shoe, with a 15-carat diamond on the toe.
The luxury footwear was designed and created by UAE-based brand Jada Dubai in collaboration with Passion Jewellers.
“We had to prototype many shoes in Italy in order to find the perfect shape, perfect heel, the perfect colour for it. Even inside, the logos of both companies are made out gold, which is very thin, so it will be very comfortable for walking,” company stated.
