Suzuki Changan’s sales had declined 27% last year.
Suzuki previously dissolved its other Chinese venture with Jiangxi Changhe automobile in June.
Japanese multinational automobile company Suzuki Motor Corporation has recently pulled out of China after dissolving its partnership with Changan.
It is said in a statement that the company has decided to transfer its 50% stake it holds in Changan Suzuki joint venture to Chongqing Changan Automobile after the legal proceedings.
It is also stated that Changan will stay to sell Suzuki-branded automobiles in Chinese market under an authorisation.
According to Bloomberg data, Suzuki Changan’s sales had declined 27% last year. Suzuki previously dissolved its other Chinese venture with Jiangxi Changhe Automobile in June.
In 2014, Suzuki was the ninth biggest automaker by production Worldwide. Suzuki has over 45,000 employees and has 35 production facilities in 23 countries, and 133 distributors in 192 countries.
The worldwide sales volume of automobiles is the world’s tenth largest, while domestic sales volume is the third largest in the country
Suzuki’s domestic motorcycle sales volume is the third largest in Japan.
