World’s Largest meat processing company JBS said its Seara processed foods unit became the first company in Brazil authorized by India to sell chicken products in the market.
The Reuters reports, JBS’ first shipment of chicken thighs and leg quarters to India is scheduled for the next few weeks.
The company also said, the first consignment will arrive at Jawaharlal Nehru Port in Mumbai,
The company has 150 industrial plants across the globe. JBS’s production structure is embedded in consumer markets Worldwide, with plants installed in the world’s four leading beef producing nations (Brazil, Argentina, United States, and Australia), serving 110 countries through exports
As of May 2017, JBS S.A. remains the world’s biggest meat producer.
