World’s third richest American business magnate and investor, Warren Buffett-led Berkshire Hathaway confirmed that the company has made an investment in India’s digital payments firm Paytm parent company One97 Communications.
Nevertheless, the company explained that Buffett is not directly involved in the transaction.
Previous reports stated the company is investing about ₹2,000 to ₹2,500 crore for 3-4% stake in Paytm, valuing the start-up at $10 billion.
Mr. Buffet is considered one of the most successful investors in the world and has a Net Worth of US$84 billion as of June 3, 2018, making him the third wealthiest person in the world.
