VP Ansip & Commissioner Oettinger welcome the adoption of the Web Accessibility Directive

The European Parliament has adopted today the Web Accessibility Directive. This is the first EU-wide rule to make Public sector websites and apps more accessible for people with disabilities, paving the way for a fully inclusive Digital Single Market.
