The Movie is very well centred around Katamarayudu (Pawan Kalyan), a commanding personality who always stands up for the weaker sections in society against powerful businessmen. He doesn’t like the idea of marriage for several reasons. He has four brothers ( Siva Balaji, Ajay, Chaitanya Krishna and Kamal Kamaraju)) and they are in love with their respective girlfriends. Now, it is a plan of his brothers to make Katamarayudu fall in love with Avanthi (Shruti Haasan )
How Katamarayudu triumphs over powerful businessmen and manages his quite complicated relationship with Avanti ? forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Pawan Kalyan looks not quite the same as normal in Katamarayudu getup. His style in dhoti avatar and attitude suit so well to the character. Moreover, his dialogue delivery is so energetic and keeps Audience engaged with the Film.
He further nailed the love proposal track with with Shruti Haasan and it stands out as one of the highlights of the film.
Shruti Haasan did very well in her role with fabulous performance and screen presence.
Ajay, Siva Balaji, Kamal Kamaraju and Chaitanya Krishna played the brothers characters and performed their part. Ajay is definitely scored well among them.
Ali is alright and Rao Ramesh impresses with his getup, and dialogue modulation.
Tarun Arora failed to impress Audience with several flaws including his characterization.
technical Team:
Kishore Kumar Pardasani is a better than average director who can exhibit the script in a viable way. Since the plot of Katamarayudu is known as a standard script, director executed pretty good, but could’ve done better in some ways to show his efficiency. However, he made it watchable.
Music by Anup Rubens is Okay, but failed to reach expectations with his poor background score. However, his score gives some key scenes in the film much needed boost.
Action choreography is fantastic and outcome is a feast for audience. Cinematography is great and production values are good.
Conclusion:
Director Kishore Kumar comprehends what the fans need and conveys it in a decent platter.
‘Katamarayudu’ is genuinely interesting and Pawan Kalyan is undoubtedly in a better shape.

Pawan Kalyan is undoubtedly a huge asset for the film and it’s his show all the way.
