Using a new technology, the International Space Station launched the Space Tethered Autonomous Robotic Satellite (STARS-C). This demonstration flight was launched using Technology developed by the Japanese Exploration Agency to provide a reliable, safe and economically viable means of deploying small research satellites into orbit.
