#Turkey has seen some of the fastest urban growth in the world—its municipal Population has more than doubled in the past 30 years. City leaders in Izmir, a 3,000-year-old metropolis along the Aegean, are seeking solutions to obstacles that accompany urbanization. The challenge is financing. International sources of funding are helping cities like Izmir meet expanding Infrastructure needs while maintaining commitments to green growth.
