According to HBR’s “The Best-Performing CEOs in the World, 2019″ list, Wolters Kluwer’s CEO Nancy McKinstry became the world’s best-performing female CEO.
General management magazine Harvard business Review has recently released its 2019 World’s Best-Performing CEOs List.
‘The Best-Performing CEOs in the World, 2019‘ list compiled by the Harvard Business Review (HBR) features 100 CEOs and has been topped by American technology company NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang.
The 2019 World’s Best-Performing CEO list has four female CEOs in the top 50 rankings, up from three in 2018 and two in previous years.
Here’s HBR’s World’s 4 best-performing Female CEOs.
Rank | Overall Rank | Name | Company | Industry | Country |
4 | 37 | Marillyn Hewson | Lockheed Martin | Industrials | United States |
3 | 29 | Debra Cafaro | Ventas | Real Estate | United States |
2 | 26 | Lisa Su | Advanced Micro Devices | Information Technology | United States |
1 | 16 | Nancy McKinstry | Wolters Kluwer | Commercial Services | Netherlands |
“Each year when HBR publishes this list, some readers protest the paucity of women; each year we respond by saying it’s the result not of the performance of female CEOs but of how few women serve in the role—a phenomenon we, too, find regrettable,” HBR stated.
