All these nations which have expressed interest to host the event will now have to nominate their proposed venues for the tournament.
The AFC will most likely announce the host by the second quarter of 2020.
The AFC Women’s Championship is a quadrennial competition in women’s football for national teams which belong to the Asian Football Confederation.
The tournament has been dominated by countries from the Pacific Rim, with the China women’s national football team having won 8 times, including a series of 7 consecutive victories.
