This sizzling hot planet that orbits a star outside our Solar System rains “sunscreen” – titanium oxide – but only on its permanent nighttime side. Observed by the Hubble Space Telescope, this blistering hot planet likely has powerful winds that carry the titanium oxide gas around to the colder nighttime side.
