Apple’s retail chief, Angela Ahrendts, was the Highest Paid women in the U.S. last year.
As understood the pay survey report by Bloomberg, after Ahrendts took over the role of Apple’s VP, she was paid $82.4 million in 2014.The pay figure includes a sign-on bonus.
Ahrendts was the CEO of Burberry from 2006 to 2014. She left Burberry to join Apple Inc. as Senior Vice President of Retail and Online Sales in 2014.
Ahrendts was ranked 49th in Forbes’ 2014 list of the Most Powerful women in the world and 29th in Fortune’s 2014 list of the world’s Most Powerful Women in business.
Oracle’s Safra Catz, was the second highest paid women with $71.2 million in her role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Marissa Meyer, Yahoo’s CEO was the third highest paid women with $59 million.
