It is well known that the farmers of capital region have given away thousands of acres of their lands for the construction of capital city, Amaravati.
As per latest reports, in a return gesture, the government of AP has planned to gift new clothes to these farmers along with invitation cards for the foundation stone laying ceremony of Amaravti.
Apparently, the government officials also told the invited people to attend the ceremony in the gifted new clothes to make it a successful event.
With this touching move, the state government has succeeded in establishing a healthy relation with the farmers, since some of them were not happy with the process of land acquisition.
Apart from this token gesture, the state government is also planning to fulfill the promises of one job per home and other packages to the farmers who sacrificed their lands for capital city.
Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the capital city on 22nd of this month.
