UPA President Sonia Gandhi in a joint meeting of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Congress Parliament party, she articulated that the Narendra Modi’s government are continuously attacking the rules, principles, values as well as the provisions of Constitution.
Sonia also talked about the prevalent atmosphere of terror and conflict all over the country.
She too cited examples of North East, seclusion of Jammu and Kashmir, attacks on Dalits, tribals and minority groups.
Sonia separately thanked all the members of Congress.
She also thanked Mallikarjun Kharge and Ghulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma who contributed as leaders in Lok Sabha, leader and Opposition for the Congress respectively.
After the meeting, a protest was led by Rahul Gandhi against Modi government with the presence of Sonia Gandhi and former PM Manmohan Singh.
Due to her ill health, Sonia was away from politics, but she made her comeback before elections and appreciated Road Transport and Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari for improvement in the country’s Infrastructure.
