The new feature of Whatsapp “ Group Invitation “ is available under Whatsapp Setting.
The group invitation will expire in 72 hours.
Whatsapp is gearing up to add some new features in 2019, that will help the users to control their privacy.
Whatsapp will now feature more user control over groups that is who can add them in a new group or already existing group.
One of the most annoying thing about Whatsapp was randomly anybody can form a group and can add anyone.
The new feature of Whatsapp “ Group Invitation “ is available under Whatsapp Setting > Account > Privacy > Groups. A user will have the power to limit their privacy in Group setting with these three options
Everyone: One can be added to any group. Group admin will send no invitation.
My contacts: It will only allow users to be added by his/ her contact members. The user will receive an invite from the group.
Nobody: User will not be a part of any group. The invitation for addition will be received by the user, but the group invitation will expire in 72 hours.
While one can also join a group via group link, the “Group Invitation ” feature is not yet available and is under progress, but in the future, it will be available for both iOS and Android.
