The upcoming tablet aims to be used at sectors such as defense, law enforcement, logistics, e–commerce, manufacturing and the rest.

By mid of March, the tablet will be available at a price range of ₹50,990.
The company claims the tab has the following features that make it different from other tabs~
- It can withstand accidental shocks, vibrations, rain, dust and also resistant to water.
- It can work under extreme conditions both inside and outside.
- As the tab uses the Samsung Knox Security system, it keeps up with the security of personal information as well as protects against malware.
- It supports glove mode and is LTE enabled.
- Increase productivity via data acquisition, pipeline design, supervisory control.
- Exynos octal-core processor powers it with 3GB RAM and 16GB storage and battery life of 4,450mAh. Besides that, it has a replaceable battery.
- It is also equipped with Pogo Pin connector that can quickly connect and charge some devices together.
Samsung India had earlier launched rugged tablets in India like Galaxy Tab Active in 2015. Samsung claims that the new tab should work more than three years as compared to the rest nonrugged tablets. The tablet will reduce the ownership cost and maintenance cost to 4% as compared to an earlier time which was 30%.
