According to reports from the film circles, kick boxer-turned-actor Ritika Mohan Singh plays a die-hard fan of South superstar Pawan Kalyan in forthcoming Telugu film Guru, a remake of R. Madhavan-starrer Irudhi Suttru.
The movie is about the association between a protege and her washed-up kickboxing trainer.
In the original movie, Ritika performed a die hard Dhanush fan. Whereas the Telugu version features her as a fan of Pawan Kalyan.
Guru features Victory Venkatesh in the role originally performed by Madhavan. Venkatesh has said to be shed some pounds to play a boxing coach in the movie.
Guru is written and directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad.
