US President Donald J. Trump ordered the withdrawal of sanctions against North Korea.
Immediately after the United States Treasury Department imposed the sanctions on North Korea, the President Donald J. Trump ordered the withdrawal of sanctions against North Korea.
The REASON?
The press secretary said, President Trump likes North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and does not think the sanctions are necessary.
The move came after Trump’s second summit with North Korean leader Kim, held this year February in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Recently, North Korea and the United States have started some formal diplomacy after the first Trump-Kim Summit in 2018.
A second summit between Trump and Kim occurred on February 27 and 28, 2019 in Vietnam regarding North Korea’s nuclear program, but ended abruptly without an agreement.
