According to the ministry, railways will run a special train for tourists visiting the Statue of Unity in Gujarat, five months after PM Narendra Modi inaugurated it.
The tour will also cover various pilgrimage sites like Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, Shirdi Sai Baba Darshan, Trimbakeshwar, and Ghrishneshwar Jyotirlinga.
The tour package will also have many boarding and de-boarding stations via Chandigarh, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Delhi Cantt, Rewari, Alwar, and Jaipur.
According to the ministry, railways will run a special train for tourists visiting the Statue of Unity in Gujarat, five months after PM Narendra Modi inaugurated it. It further added that the train, which will run under the government’s Bharat Darshan scheme, will have a seven-night and eight-day tour package. It will begin on March 4 from Chandigarh.
The tour will also cover various pilgrimage sites like Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, Shirdi Sai Baba Darshan, Trimbakeshwar, and Ghrishneshwar Jyotirlinga.
According to the statement, The train will cost Rs 7,560 per person. The tour package will also have many boarding and de-boarding stations via Chandigarh, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Delhi Cantt, Rewari, Alwar, and Jaipur. It further said that the package had been designed to pay tribute to the Iron Man of India, Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The train will stop at Vadodara station. After this, the passengers will be taken to the Statue of Unity by buses.
