Rafael Nadal has won the Italian Open 2019 title after beating Serbian professional tennis player Novak Djokovic 6-0, 4-6, 6-1 in the final match.
With this title, Nadal’s Italian Open titles quantity reached to 9.
Spanish professional tennis player Rafael Nadal on 19th of May has won the Italian Open 2019 title after beating Serbian professional tennis player Novak Djokovic 6-0, 4-6, 6-1 in the final match in Rome.
With this title, Nadal has so far achieved 9 Italian Open titles.
Nadal also broke a tie with Djokovic by claiming a record 34th Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Masters 1000 crown.
Whereas, in Women’s single Czech’s Karolina Pliskova recorded two straight-set victory against Britain’s Johanna Konta 6-3, 6-4 to claim the Italian Open title.
Nadal is currently ranked world No. 2 in men’s singles tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals.
Nadal has won 17 Grand Slam singles titles, the 2nd most in history for a male player, as well as a record 34 ATP Tour Masters 1000 titles, 20 ATP Tour 500 titles, and the 2008 Olympic Gold Medal in singles.
