As per Mercer’s Annual Quality of Living Survey for 2016, Hyderabad is the best city in terms of Quality of Living in India.
Hyderabad has achieved this feat for the second consecutive year. But, Hyderabad also has dropped one place from 138 overall last year to 139 this year.
The next Indian city to feature in Top 150 happens to be Pune, at 144th place. Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai are ranked better than other top Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi etc. due to reasons like weather, crime rate and air pollution. As per the survey, Indian cities haven’t improved much in terms of Quality of Living.
Vienna (Austria) stands top across the world as the city with best livable conditions. Interestingly, Vienna has been maintaining the top rank for the past 7 years.
Zurich (Switzerland), Auckland (New Zealand), Munich (Germany) and Vancouver (Canada) are the remaining Top 5 Best Cities.
