On March 27, Congress President Rahul Gandhi was returning from Talkatora Stadium, where he had gone to attend a public meeting. On his way, he found Rajendra Vyas, owner of Rajasthan-based daily had met with an accident at Central Delhi’s Humayun Road. Gandhi immediately stopped his car and helped Vyas to reach All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS).
A Video was shot by his staff showing that Gandhi was tapping on the bruised forehead of the journalist with a handkerchief. And midway, the journalist approached Rahul and asked Rahul to apply the handkerchief so that he can use the video for his news. Rahul was seen laughing and helping. At present Vyas, is being treated in the hospital.
Another such incident happened during Rahul visit to Odisha when a journalist lost his balance and fell, and no sooner Rahul rushed and helped him. On the election front, Rahul will be contesting from Amethi for upcoming Lok Sabha elections along with file a nomination from the second seat in South India.
