Before the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid respect and gratitude to the soldiers who were killed in Pulwama attack, CRPF head constable Sanjay Sinha and constable Ratan Thakur who were victims of Pulwama Attack.
Modi marked his style by chanting “ Bharat Mata Ki Jai” thrice with raised hands. But this time, he chanted “ Parikrama Bharat Ke,” “ Vijay Bharat Ke Liye “ and “ Veer jawan on Ke Liye.”
Prime Minister also remembered the legendary figures of ancient, medieval and modern period rulers. In his mention, Chanakya, Buddha, Ashoka, Veer Kunwar Singh, Guru Gobind Singh were some of the heroes.
He also paid tribute to political figures like India’s first CM Shri Krishna Sinha, Anugraha Singh, Kapoori Thakur and rest who cut across caste lines.
Modi also mentioned about the Sulabh International founder and Bihar native Bindeshwar Pathak to eradicate the manual scavenging and maintaining public sanitation for which he was made the brand ambassador under Swachh Bharat Abhigyan.
During the continuous speech, it drizzled for a few minutes on which Modi said its blessing from Lord Vishnu who is considered as the epitome of rain in Hindu mythology.
