The upcoming epic film “Bajirao Mastani” directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is in news not only for its large canvas and epic clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ but also for the dance sequence featuring two top actresses.
Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are playing the lead actresses in this film based on the life of Maratha king Bajirao. Now, the much awaited “Pinga” song has been released in which the two starlets shared screen.
Immediately this song is being compared to Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit’s memorable song ‘Dola Re Dola’ from Bhansali’s “Devdas”. Those who have watched both the songs, say that the pair of Aish and Madhuri was timeless whereas Bajirao ladies failed to repeat the same magic.
Aish and Madhuri are not only gorgeous actresses but they were wonderful dancers too. Their natural expressions in the dance sequence of ‘Dola Re’ were priceless.
Although Deepika and Priyanka danced well, they lack that charming and impressive screen presence of Aish-Madhuri combo.
