The Petroleum and Natural gas Ministry is gearing up to introduce the online payment facility to book gas cylinder.
At present, payment for booking cylinders is made only after the delivery of the cylinder but with the new scheme, the booking and payment can be done online, a huge relief for urban people especially. The online facility will be made available in 13 Indian languages.
The booking and payment can be done on www.mylpg.in website, announced Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmedra Pradhan. He tweeted,

Another Innovation for LPG gas cylinders is the availability of touch screens at major railway stations and airports. Apart from booking, payments can also be done using these giant screens. For new gas connections, the total payment of Rs 3,400 is going to be divided into 24 installments, announced Dharmendra Pradhan.
