The Northern Railways has announced free WiFi that covers the entire section of Delhi- Ambala-Chandigarh railway stations.
“RailWire”- the retail broadband initiative of RailTel, a Mini Ratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways.
RailTel India has announced free high-speed WiFi access at 746 stations India to more than 8 million people per month.
The Northern Railways has announced free WiFi that covers the entire section of Delhi- Ambala-Chandigarh railway stations.
Under the initiative of PM Modi, of making India a Digital World, the railway station was installed with free WiFi that will make travel opportunities better for passengers.
The broadband connectivity at the station had been made by “RailWire”- the retail broadband initiative of RailTel, a Mini Ratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways.
On March 3, the South Western Railway has also announced free WiFi zone over Banglore- Mysore route that will extend up to 138 km long.

Open the Wifi mode in the Smartphone >> RailWire appears on the screen >> user has to enter the mobile number and OTP that is sent via SMS >> once connected, the user will be able to use the free net.

The passengers can live stream HD videos, do office work online, play games as well as enjoy the high-speed net while waiting for their respective trains.
