Another general store shopkeeper Pancahanansil, when asked what they do if somebody needs something urgently, replied, “It affects the business a lot, but we support the bandh anyway if it is for good. But if somebody is in need, we cater to them without opening the shutter of the shop.” It was found that although a lot of shopkeepers and even ordinary people are being found distressed because of this series of bandhs, they still support the bandh in the hope that it would bring good and a change.
