The Times Now-VMR Poll tracker has come up with a new survey report saying YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSR Congress party will get 22 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming Andhra Pradesh elections.
According to its projection, the Telugu
Desam Party (TDP) will only get 3 Lok Sabha seats.
When it comes to votes, the survey report
predicts that the YSR Congress Party will get 48.8% vote Share, while TDP will
settle at 38.4%.
Surprisingly the NDA and UPA will bag 5.8%
and 2.2% vote share respectively.
What To Know About Reddy ‘s Profile?
Jagan Reddy was arrested by the Central
Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on illegal assets charges and his Judicial
custody was extended repeatedly as the investigation continued.
The Supreme Court also dismissed his
petition on 4 July 2012, 9 August 2012, and on 13 May 2013.
VV Lakshminarayana, the then CBI Joint Director had arrested Jagan Mohan Reddy in the illegal assets case and sent him to prison for 16 months.
Lakshminarayana is also known to have
carried out investigation in Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Gali
Janardhan Reddy’s Obulapuram Illegal Mining cases.
He is further known to have successfully
carried out the investigation in Satyam Scandal.
Lakshminarayana has been awarded the
Mahatma Gandhi Peace Prize by the Minority Commission of Maharashtra.
Lakshminarayana has also been conferred
with the Presidents Police Medal for Distinguished Services on 26 January 2017.
Lakshminarayana retired in the year 2018.
