Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted on February 24 that there will be a “ Special “ programme on Maan Ki Baat in radio at 11 am.
The sole objective of Maan Ki Baat is to build a bond with the citizens daily and notify them about the initiatives taken by the government as well as to seek support from the people via the programme for nation-building.
To begin the programme, Modi addressed the soldiers who lost their lives in Pulwama terror attack.
Modi was the then surprised to find no National War Memorial in India and then decided for building monuments for such heroes and brave soldiers of the country.
Modi affirmed that casting a vote is a sacred duty that all citizens should avail. And thereby he praised the Election Committee for its organizing abilities for the polls.
However, in the end, Modi notified that there would be no Maan Ki Baat on March and April due to upcoming elections.
Modi too will stand as a candidate; thus he would be busy moving around with rallies, and the show would be resumed on the last Sunday of May.
Maan Ki Baat will be broadcast in All India Radio, Doordarshan and the Narendra Modi mobile app. The programme will also be aired in regional languages soon after Hindi broadcast and will be repeated at 8 pm.
