Pawan Kalyan led JanaSena party’s Nandyal Member of Parliament (MP) candidate and industrialist SPY Reddy died on Tuesday night at Corporate hospital in Hyderabad.
SPY Reddy was 69 and had been ill for few weeks. He was a three-time MP from Nandyal Parliamentary constituency in Kurnool.
Reddy was a prominent industrialist promoting Nandi group of companies.
JanaSena Party chief Pawan Kalyan condoled Reddy’s demise.
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national President and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu also condoled Reddy’s demise
Naidu said that Reddy served the Nandyal as a Member of Parliament and the people of the district would never forget his services.
Mr Reddy, who was elected to Lok Sabha from Nandyal on YSR Congress Party ticket, has joined the Telugu Desam Party, even before swearing as an MP, on 25 May 2014.
He later joined Pawan Kalyan led JanaSena party and contested recent Lok Sabha Elections on behalf of Jana Sena Party.
