internet users in the nation are estimated to be in the range of 450 to 465 million by June of year 2017.
This has been explained in a study done by the Internet and Mobile Association of India and Indian Market Research Bureau.
The analysis stated that there were 432 million internet users in December last year (2016).
From them, nearly 269 million internet users were in urban locations of the nation.
The study further added that urban India has close to 60 per cent World wide web penetration, highlighting a degree of saturation.
Non-urban India, with only 17 per cent internet penetration, is still equipped with a sizable scope of betterment.
