A study funded by the National Cancer Institute in North Carolina reveals that US teenagers have around a 90% achievement rate when attempting to purchase electronic cigarettes from online sellers.
The study was carried out by enrolling a gathering of teenagers that were then asked to attempt and buy e-cigarettes from 98 online retailers.
Despite the fact that the offer of electronic cigarettes to minors is banned by law in many US states, the result of the study demonstrated a totally different reality.
As study reveals, 75 of the 98 requests were successfully processed.
As study says, 18 of them failed to place order due to technical problems, implying that just 5 attempted purchases were obstructed by age check related systems.
