You can find poverty data for countries at your fingertips, but trying to find such data at the district and the sub-district levels may not be that simple as they are often times buried in reports. To alleviate this, we have launched a set of interactive maps to show how poverty is distributed across Bangladesh. In addition, the maps also show data on a wide range of socio-economic indicators such as energy access, sanitation, nutrition, education, water, employment, demographics, bottom 40. Through the maps, one can accurately paint a picture of the living conditions across the various districts and sub-districts in the country, and do important benchmarking at the district and sub-district levels.
