India’s Wrestler Bajrang Punia Topped United World Wrestling’s 65-kg Freestyle Category List

India’s freestyle wrestler Bajrang Punia has regained the world No.1 spot on the men’s 65-kilogram freestyle Wrestling category rankings list.

India’s freestyle wrestler Bajrang Punia has regained the world number one spot on the men’s 65-kilogram freestyle wrestling category rankings list.

International wrestling governing body the United World Wrestling on 17^th of April released the rankings.

Punja is followed by Akhmed Chakaev of Russia and Nachyn Kuular of Russia who came in 2^nd and 3^rd spots.

Turky’s Selahattin Kilicsallayan and Mongolia’s Tulga Tumurochir came in 4^th and 5^th spots respectively.

Punia, who won Gold in the Asian games and Commonwealth Games as well as a silver in the World Championships last year, secured 58 points ahead of Akhmed Chakaev of Russia.
