Pakistan PM Imran Khan gave his first response after the Pulwama Attack through a video. In the video, he said if Indians believe that they can launch an attack on Pakistan, they should understand that Pakistan would not think, but retaliate immediately. He further stated that no law in the world allows any person or a country to be the “judge, jury and executioner.” He said that Pakistan would act if India submitted any actionable evidence.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs has rejected his response, calling Pakistan the nerve center of terrorism, asking it to take visible action against the terrorists.
In response to Khan’s statement, finance Minister Arun Jaitley fired against him. Jaitley stated that India provided evidence on the 2008 Mumbai terror attack, but the country did not do anything about it. He also said that “Shri Khan’s” statement is nothing more than a “muscle flexing confession. UN Human Rights chief had asked India and Pak to take immediate steps, while US President Trump called it a horrible situation.
