South Africa’s No 1 limited over spinner Imran Tahir has decided to call quits to ODI Cricket after the World cup 2019 in England.
The upcoming World Cup will be the third and the last appearance for the left arm wrist spinner.
Imran however, wish to continue the shortest format of the game till T20 World Cup 2020.
South Africa’s No 1 limited over spinner Imran Tahir has decided to call quits to ODI cricket after the World Cup 2019 in England. He announced his Retirement Plans just before the commencement of the 2nd ODI against Sri Lanka in South Africa.
Imran Tahir has Featured in two World Cups for South Africa, in 2011 and 2015. The upcoming World Cup will be the third and the last appearance for the left arm wrist spinner.
Imran Tahir has so far played 96 ODI’s for South Africa. He was born in Pakistan and moved to South Africa later. Imran however, wish to continue the shortest format of the game till T20 World Cup 2020.
