According to reports, the doctors in the MRI scan of Indian Air Force (IAF) wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman did not find any bugs.
The ANI sources report, “the scan has also shown that there is an injury in his lower spine which could have happened due to his ejection from his MiG-21 after aerial engagement with an F-16.”
The sources further said, “a rib of Abhinandan was also injured due to assault by Pakistani locals soon after he landed on ground in PoK after his plane was shot down.”
Varthaman will undergo more check-ups at Research and Referral Hospital in Delhi Cantonment.
The pilot, Abhinandan Varthaman, is a Wing Commander and a MiG-21 Bison pilot. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed on 27th of February that an Indian pilot is missing in action after a MiG-21 Bison fighter plane was lost while engaging with Pakistani jets after they violated Indian airspace.
Rachel E. VanLandingham of the Southwestern Law School stated that Pakistan violated Article 13 of the Geneva Conventions by posting a video of Abhinandan Varthaman on social media with a presumable intent to humiliate him and the state of India.
