Australian software company Atlassian’s co-founder Mike Cannon-Brookes and his wife, Annie, have recently bought country’s most expensive mansion.
The mansion called Fairwater has reportedly been bought by the couple for a whopping A$100 (USD$73 million).
A 1.12-hectare estate was previously belonged to the Mary Fairfax, whose family formerly owned the Sydney Morning Herald.
Built in 1882, the Fairwater is known to have hosted vast parties, Political Leaders and celebs among the invitees over the decades.
“We are delighted with the purchase of Fairwater for our young family and look forward to continuing the legacy of this beautiful Sydney home,” Cannon-Brookes and his wife Annie said in a statement.
“We love the idea of raising our four young children in this historic property, filling the house and gardens with love and laughter through the years,” they added.
Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar founded Atlassian in 2002. They bootstrapped the company for several years, financing the start-up with a $10,000 credit card debt.
Now, Atlassian serves over 120,000 customers and as of July, 2017, the company has made $619.9 million in revenue.
