Indian boxer Vikas Krishan Yadav on 31st of August became the first-ever Indian boxer to bag a medal in three sequential Asian Games.
The 26-year-old pulled out of his semi-final session due to an eye injury, claiming bronze in the men’s 75kg category.
Vikas is from Bhiwani district in Haryana, and had won a Gold Medal in the 2010 Asian Games in the Lightweight category and a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
He also won bronze in the 75kg category in 2014.
