The Variety magazine claim the Film 2.0 is ‘India’s first $75 million film’.

The makers of South Superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar starrer science fiction film ‘2.0’ have spent over $75 million (approximately ₹544 crore) on Visual Effects (VFX).
The Variety magazine has presented the poster of 2.0 as its cover along with the title saying that it is ‘India’s first USD 75 million film’.
The poster released by Variety was also Shared by Akshay Kumar and film’s director Shankar on social media platforms.
Akshay Kumar wrote that the film is the result of unlimited effort of more than 3,000 technicians around the world.
The film serves as a spiritual successor to the 2010 Tamil film Enthiran, and features Rajinikanth reprising the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson.
The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi along with additional dubbed releases in 12 other languages.
The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on 29 November 2018.
