An American tech giant Apple has announced to donate Rs. 7 crore towards the ongoing flood relief work in Kerala.
“We’re heartbroken by the catastrophic flooding in Kerala. Apple is donating Rs 7 crore to support the life saving work Mercy Corps India and the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund are undertaking to support survivors, help those who have been displaced and rebuild homes and schools,” the Cupertino-based iPhone maker said in a statement.
Apple designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services.
Apple’s Worldwide annual revenue totalled $229 billion for the 2017 fiscal year. Apple is the world’s largest information Technology company by revenue and the world’s third-largest mobile phone manufacturer after Samsung and Huawei.
