Japan has given a loan of ₹88,000 crore to India for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route scheduled for 2022.
India is reportedly set to buy approximately 18 bullet trains from Japan at a total of ₹7,000 crore in a pact where the supplier will also have to allocate the adequate technology for domestic making.
