French Actress Isabelle Hupert has been selected for International Film Festival of India’s Life Time Achievement Award.
India’s Information and broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar on 2nd of November announced that French Actress Isabelle Hupert will be honoured with Life Time Achievement Award at the Golden Jubilee of International Film Festival of India.
The Minister said, during the 50th International Film Festival in Goa, 50 films of women directors will be showcased.
Among the 200 Foreign films for IFFI, 24 Films are in the race for Oscar nominations, he said.
Isabelle Hupert is the most nominated actress for the César Award, with 16 nominations.
She twice won the César Award for Best Actress, for La Cérémonie (1995) and Elle (2016).
Huppert was made Chevalier of the Ordre national du Mérite in 1994 and was promoted to Officier in 2005.
She was made a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour in 1999 and was promoted to Officer in 2009.
