A computer programmer named Anand Prakash, who works at Flipkart, has won reward of Rs 10 lakh from Social Networking giant Facebook for finding and reporting a bug.
As per reports, Anand has won the bounty for identifying a bug in the log-in process of Facebook.it may be noted that Facebook had launched Bug Bounty Program in 2011 to encourage people to report bugs and Security threats found on their social media platform.
The 28 year old said that he had found a bug in Facebook which allows him to hack into any Facebook account with the help of relatively simple software.
He said that so far he has earned around Rs 1.2 Cr just by reporting bugs in various tech companies over the last few years. Interestingly, Anand has so far reported 90 and 30 bugs respectively for Facebook and Twitter.
