Director Koratala Siva’s recent film ‘Srimanthudu’ starring superstar Mahesh Babu has been a runaway hit and it minted unbelievable money at the Box Office. Koratala has now become one of the most wanted filmmakers in Tollywood.
While he is hogging all the limelight for ‘Srimanthudu’, here comes the shocker. Koratala received a big jolt as a man named Sarath Chandra has appeared in front of media and claimed that Srimanthudu story was his idea.
He added that the whole story was published as a serial titled ‘Chachhentha Prema’ in ‘Swathi’ weekly magazine. He alleged that Koratala Siva made his serial as the basis for the story of Srimanthudu.
He claimed that he has been planning to take this story to young hero Nara Rohit to rope him in as the lead for a feature film. This issue is currently creating ripples in Tollywood.
On the other hand, Koratala Siva is keeping mum on this plagiarism allegation, leading to more doubts.
