According to latest reports, Jessica Simpson, a popular singer-turned-fashion mogul has set her sights on multiplying the yearly benefits of her billion-dollar design firm by offering more than 50% of the company to Sequential Brands Group.
The artist launched her eponymous clothing name in 2005, in a joint effort with late outline legend Vince Camuto (Camuto Group), and it has since extended to include shoes, cloths, jewellery, purses, fragrance and home goods, raking in an estimated $1 billion a year.
As per latest developments, Simpson has now secured new deal with Sequential Brands Group to support the business’ future development.
According to the statement, the star is extremely honored to band together with Sequential Brands Group to proceed with the development and respectability of the Jessica Simpson Collection.
“Working together with the powerful management team at Sequential and with all of our trusted retailers and licensees, including Camuto Group, there is no limit to our success,” Simpson said in a statement.
The Jessica Simpson Collection is a fashion line of clothing and other items for women. Besides clothing, the brand also includes handbags, accessories, jewellery, shoes and fragrances.
