Supercomputers can diagnose a disease, predict weather or help researchers process large amounts of data. The importance of high-performance computers will even grow in the near future where billions of devices will be connected to the internet.
European countries decided to join forces and increase the supercomputing capacity. The goal is to have #exascale #supercomputers based on European technology in the global top 3 by 2022.
